A. You will need to have a provisional license to start. To get one you can:

Q. What do I need to bring to my first lesson?
A. All you need is your provisional driving license and first payment (or block of lessons).
Q. How much is the theory and practical test?
A. The theory test costs £23 and you will need to make your own way there and back. The practical test is around £62 as well as the cost of the lesson beforehand. This gets you warmed up, ready to go and to your chosen test centre.
Q. When do I know I'm ready to take my test?
A. You and your instructor will know when you're ready to take your test, then you need to book it! This button links to the government site tells you everything you need to know about passing your test and what you will need
Q. What happens in your theory driving test?
A. The theory test is taken on a computer an an official DVSA test centre and has two parts. The first is 50 multiple-choice questions and the second is a Hazard Perception Test.
